My Short Fiction

I am the 2022 Narrative Prize winner, the 2021 winner of Narrative Magazines 30 Under Contest, a 2024 finalist for the Commonwealth Short Story Award and a 2021 Finalist for the Cecilia Joyce Johnson Award for Short Fiction from the Key West Literary Seminar. I have been a writer-in-residence at the Ou Gallery, Hedgebrook and Craigardan. I serve as a fiction editor at The Maple Tree Literary Supplement. I am working on my debut short story collection about race, power, and the intimate lives of men and women.

I am represented by Ellen Levine and Audrey Crooks at Trident Media Group.

Stories

My short story, “When Things End,” was a finalist for the 2024 Commonwealth Short Story Prize. It featured in Issue 1 of adda’s 2024 edition.

My short story, “Rouses Point,” featured on the front page of Narrative Magazine’s 2022 Fall Edition. It received the Narrative Prize in 2022.
